I am selling raffle tickets for a new 2007 Mercedes-Benz R350. The R-Class is what Mercedes-Benz calls a "sports tourer" - it handles like car but is roomier than a wagon - (see the attached flyer). Tickets are only $50 each (a tax-deductible donation), and the drawing will be held at the Annual Convention of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association in Las Vegas on November 11. The car is valued at $50,000 and you need not be present to win. All proceeds from the raffle go to benefit the NAPABA Law Foundation, a non-profit organization that gives out scholarships and fellowships to assist communities of color each year. No more than 6,000 tickets will be sold, but it is likely that the number will actually be fewer than 2000 sold - and possibly much fewer!
